Overview

Time To Leave! calculates what time you need to leave in order to arrive somewhere on time, using current driving conditions. The app has no account system, shows no advertising, does not sell personal data, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

What We Collect

Nothing. We operate no servers and we receive no data from the app. There is no analytics framework, no advertising SDK, no crash reporting service and no third-party tracker of any kind inside Time To Leave!.

Location

The app asks for location access while you are using it. Your position is used for one purpose: as the starting point of the route it calculates. It is not stored on our side, because there is no our side — the coordinates stay on your iPhone and are passed to Apple Maps to work out the route and its timing.

You can refuse location access and still use the app by choosing a starting point manually.

Maps, Routes and Traffic

Routes, travel times and traffic conditions come from Apple Maps (MapKit), which is part of iOS. When a route is calculated, the start and destination coordinates are handled by Apple in order to return that route. This processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not send Apple any account information, because we do not have any.

Your Saved Places

Home, Work, favourites and recent destinations are stored on your iPhone, inside the app's own storage. They are not uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app removes them.

Notifications and Live Activities

The departure reminder and the traffic alerts are local notifications: they are scheduled by the app on your device and are not delivered through any push server. The Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island is rendered on your iPhone from the same on-device data.

Background Refresh

With Background App Refresh enabled, the app periodically recalculates your departure time so the reminder stays accurate as traffic changes. This uses the same Apple Maps routing described above and produces no data for us.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your card, your billing address or any other payment detail — the app only asks the App Store whether this Apple Account owns the product, and receives a yes or a no. Your free trial is counted on your device and is not reported anywhere.

Children's Privacy

Time To Leave! is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your Rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Everything the app knows lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
